5 places for indoor play in or around Copenhagen
No matter how the weather is outside, we fortunately have many options for indoor activities. If you’re looking for something big (and wild), indoor playlands are a great option for kids to burn off some energy with other children.
Here are our 5 recommendations for playlands in or near Copenhagen:
Dinos Legeland
Location: Ørestad + Ishøj

Dinos Legeland offers a wide range of sports and games for all ages, with several action-packed activities for the more adventurous. There’s a separate section for the little ones (0-4) and, as the name suggests, the entire playland has a dinosaur theme, so there’s a good chance to find your favorite dino!
The venue has a café, Dinos Diner, for the whole family and a parent lounge for those who need a short break.
Funplays
Location: Ballerup + Kokkedal

Age: All ages
Funplays (formerly Eventyrfabrikken) is a chain of activity centers for children of all ages with playlands in our neighboring countries. Funtasia focuses on movement and community – there are activities to get the body moving and challenge the brain.
Jump on trampolines, drive bumper cars, or try slides and climbing towers.
The place also offers a Come Back ticket if you haven’t explored the entire venue.
Leos Legeland
Location: Herlev + Ishøj

Age: All ages
Leos Legeland is a classic playland with an animal theme, making it a big hit if your kids are interested in the animal world. A large playland with trampolines, a bike track, a ball field, and a special area for the smallest kids.
The café offers refreshments for both kids and adults.
Experimentarium
Location: Hellerup

Age: All ages
Experimentarium is not a typical playland, but we included it anyway.
The place focuses on scientific experiments at a child’s level, but there are also activities and experiments to get the pulse up.
There are continuously changing exhibitions introducing children (and adults) to various scientific topics.
The venue offers a large selection of smaller games/experiments where kids can explore the mysteries of science.
Everyone is welcome, but the very young ones can’t roam around alone.
Funtasia
Location: Rødovre

Age: All ages
Funtasia is another wonderland with 3 floors of trampolines, slides, climbing frames, and ball pits.
You can play soccer and basketball with other kids on their courts, ride bikes on their special track, or just explore the hall with activities.
Funtasia has a separate area for the little ones, so everyone can enjoy the visit.
There is a café with refreshments for the whole family.
